A love of old-growth and yoga inspired Sailee Clemens to co-found Mossy Lotus with her partner, Daniel Houghtaling. As knowledgeable and passionate guides, they will lead you on a hike to the cliffs of Cape Arago for sun salutations overlooking the Majestic Pacific Ocean. Along the route, they’ll show you their favorite coast viewpoints and secret beaches—places few yogis have seen. The hike is one-hour each way, with one hour of meditation and mixed-level yoga. All are welcome!
This medium-level hike has some elevation gain.

About Your Southern Oregon Coast Hosts
Sailee Clemens, co-founder of Mossy Lotus Yoga Studio & Nature Retreats, has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and teaching for seven. She previously worked as a wildlife biologist, where she met her partner, Daniel Houghtaling. Together they spent six years discovering the “lost old-growth forests” of this amazing area. It was there, while tracking owls and watching forest sunrises, that the idea for Mossy Lotus was born. Their daily practice and dream is to connect people with their innate truth by integrating forest immersion and yoga techniques. Sailee and Daniel humbly offer travelers and locals alike the realization of this dream.
