With 5,900 acres of forests, mudflats, and salt marshes, the South Slough is a South Coast gem. On this guided hike, you'll slow down and use your five senses to discover nature (and perhaps a bit about yourself). Along the way, you’ll learn all about this important estuary habitat and learn about how it benefits both people and wildlife.
This event will take place outdoors on a forest/wetland trail. Bring water and wear closed-toed shoes appropriate for hiking. The hike will take place rain or shine, unless it becomes unsafe to do so (thunder/lightning, high winds, etc.). Please dress for the weather.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
