Have questions about... anything at all?

Thank you for asking! Below are questions we've already received. If you don't see the answer you're looking for do send us an email. We'll do our very best get back to you within 24 hours—and often will do so much quicker.

How do I register for classes?

In 2019, Live Culture Coast will offer more than 50 classes and events. We offer classes and events every single day from October 18-27. Registration takes place online. Register by September 8 online and you’ll receive 10% off your ticket price!

How do I find out where my class is being held?

Each class description and Eventbrite ticket lists the location of the experience. If you need assistance with class logistics at any time during Live Culture Coast, visit the traveling Culture Stand or send us an email to registration@liveculturecoast.org. During the festival (October 18-27), we will respond promptly to help you with your needs!

Do classes have age limits?

Many of our classes and events involve beer- and spirits-tasting, cooking, or educational components. As such, most are best-suited for adults. However, there are some terrific family-friendly events, including the Harvest Fair and Co-op Celebration (October 18-19)Make It! Mosaic Glass Art (ages 5+ with adult) (October 19), and our Fused-Glass Workshop (ages 6+ with adult) (October 20).

What is the refund and waitlist policy?

In 2019, because many of our classes require advance preparation, buying, and planning by our hosts, we will not be able to offer refunds. We will collect waitlists for every experience so that if enough people sign up, we could perhaps add another of that experience. If you have questions, please drop us a line at registration@liveculturecoast.org.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do not have to bring a printed ticket to the event. Your Southern Oregon Coast Host will have your name on hand.

Are class spaces handicapped-accessible?

Many classes are accessible to all levels of mobility, but not all. To verify accessibility for a specific event or class or to ask if accommodations are possible, contact us at registration@liveculturecoast.org

Are scholarships available for classes?

We offer reduced rates and, in some cases, free access to events for our volunteers. To learn more about volunteer opportunities, check out our Volunteer Page.

I haven’t registered for a class, will there be other things to do?

For last-minute class registrations, you can visit our traveling Culture Stand during Live Culture Coast. But even if you don’t get into a class you want, there are many ways to participate and many ways to explore the Southern Oregon Coast. You can explore the Southern Oregon Coast’s incredible trails, look for our Burma Shave-style poems, eat your way along the Wild Rivers Coast Food Trail, or check out our temporary art installations at Langlois Cheese Factory and the Port of Gold Beach. To learn more, visit Plan Your Trip.

Can I take pictures throughout Live Culture Coast?

Yes! We’re hosting a photo contest for the 10 days of Live Culture Coast. To enter, post your photos to Instagram and tag them #liveculturecoast. We’ll post contest details on our own Instagram channel soon!
